Inexpensive food of a farmer quality, a bit too salty and too spicy though, but still quite acceptable. Being friendly is still in a trial phase for the staff, some are doing great, the others not. It is very noisy on the terrasse with all those kids running around, but the view, of course, is fantastic.
The food was good, and the hike up the hill was worth the view.

Despite the amount of people coming for dinner all went well! Food excellent, service great. The staff is showing that they like what they are doing!

Good place for small kids with kids playground outside and a small one inside. Food was not so impressive, medium done chicken liver and not well done baked fish. Large portions thought. Maybe just bad luck...

I can completely agree with the many positive reviews here with a clear conscience: large portions at moderate prices, excellently cooked home-style food without any frills.
You can sit comfortably on the terrace and enjoy the fantastic view - but you should definitely make a reservation on weekends.
The staff is attentive, friendly and the food is served quickly. Some hike to the shelter, others drive their car, which can be parked in one of the two parking spaces below the location. Then it's just a few (somewhat steep) meters, past the observation tower, to the shelter.
You can also pay by card. And for those who can't keep their hands off their smartphone: reception is there! 😉
On a sunny, stormy winter day we hiked uphill to the lookout point, which was visible from afar. The imposing wooden structure creaked and swayed frighteningly with every gust of wind. Great view. It was nice.
